Renowned Chef David Thompson to Open Pop-Up Restaurant

Thai food expert David Thompson will demonstrate his skills at an exclusive pop-up restaurant at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong from April 8 to 10, 2013.

Food lovers will get the chance to experience first-hand why nahm, the David Thompson-run Thai restaurant, has been named one of the 50 best restaurants in the world. The pop-up restaurant will feature handcrafted Thai canapés, and a tailor-made menu of 6 dishes featuring Thompson’s signature meals, including an Asian pennywort salad with pork and lobster, salty duck egg relish, and coconut and turmeric curry with blue swimmer crab.

For the three-day event, the Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s Tian and Di function rooms will be transformed with a combination of traditional Thai motifs and the hotel’s contemporary design.
