Having recently relocated to H-Code, Bo Innovation is setting its sights on a new crowd by offering a stunning and eclectic dining experience at an accessible price point. The restaurant’s inviting atmosphere is casual, fun, and infused with colourful whimsy and bold designs, creating the perfect setting for both intimate meals and larger celebrations.
Drawing inspiration from the timeless flavours and ingredients of classic Chinese cuisine, the Arts of Asia’ menu pushes boundaries and reinvents traditional dishes with a modern twist. Savour modern takes on classic Hong Kong flavours presented in imaginative ways, kicking off with the Five Oxen (above). Inspired by Han Huang’s renowned Five Oxen painting, this dish features five distinctive interpretations of bovine parts, using bone marrow, ox fat, fermented milk curd, and liver, with the fifth featuring a light beef consommé.
The menu continues with the playful Master Q, a mahjong-inspired work of art featuring green pea scallop terrine with conpoy, shiso plum and mountain yam. It then takes a turn towards the extraordinary with the Lotus (above), which pairs snow crab with lotus leaf aioli, enhanced by the essence of apple lotus root starch, and finished with a touch of lotus flower vinegar.
The Bamboo at Work showcases a unique salt-roasted bamboo shoot, “chu yeh ching” miso glaze, topped with freshly grated black and white foie gras, while Bo Innovation’s legendary Signature Xiao Long Bao is also back (with additional cost) To complement the tasting experience, a range of wines and cocktails are also available at a supplementary price.
