

This October, COMO Uma Canggu invites travellers of all ages to two unique boxing fitness camps, led by world-class boxers Darren Barker and Ryan Pickard.
Have you ever wanted to learn self-defence, build endurance, or test yourself in the ring? Over six days of intensive training and rejuvenation, participants of all ages can join two Boxing Camps taking place at COMO Uma Canggu in Bali, where they’ll learn boxing fundamentals, engage in diverse exercise modalities, and immerse themselves in the vibrant charm of Canggu.

Participants in this exclusive retreat will master the foundations of boxing, improving their self-defence skills and overall fitness. Under the expert guidance of Commonwealth Games gold medal winner Darren Barker and Ryan Pickard, a highly successful amateur boxer, attendees will push their physical and mental boundaries through a variety of workouts, including yoga, cardio and meditation. This holistic approach ensures rapid and effective fitness improvements, while also developing strength, speed, agility, hand-eye coordination, endurance, and power without the need to take a punch.
Nutrition plays a crucial role in the retreat, with participants refuelling with COMO Shambhala Cuisine. This nutritious and satisfying menu ensures that guests eat the right kinds of food to support their training. The elegant accommodation at COMO Uma Canggu offers rooms with ocean or lagoon pool views, providing a luxurious setting for relaxation. In addition, 17-21 October the resort will host The Little Boxers Camp, aimed at building confidence and teaching children new skills to conquer challenges, learn discipline, and ignite a desire to live a healthier life through sport. Children staying at COMO Uma Canggu can expect to learn various movement and defence techniques led by expert coaches Ryan Pickard and Darren Barker. The training is non-contact, with a full lesson line-up guiding children through the essential attributes needed in the sport of boxing. Children of all capabilities are welcome to join.
