CL Yachts’ latest offering, the CLB65, features a streamlined silhouette and versatile, open plan spaces.
CL Yachts recently launched the CLB65 in the Asia market following its US premiere last year. Designed and constructed by naval architect Howard Apollonio and leading marine structural engineers at Gurit, the yacht has a resin-infused composite hull and utilises carbon fibre to improve efficiency, performance and durability.
With twin 800hp Volvo Penta IPS1050 engines as standard, the CLB65 can reach 27 knots and cruise at 21 knots and offers owners and skippers the close control and manoeuvrability of the Volvo Penta pod system, which is equally useful out at sea or in a crowded marina.
The CLB65’s streamlined silhouette is complemented by modern interiors and it adopts a layout that stretches from the aft deck terrace and alfresco dining area through an aft galley into the central saloon for a modern, open plan feel.
The midships master stateroom makes full use of the yacht’s giant beam, offering extensive wardrobe space, leagues of light through large hull glazing, and an ensuite complete with walk-in rain shower. There is also a VIP cabin with ensuite forward, and a further ensuite twin.
The stern area, meanwhile, offers a sizable swim platform that facilitates boarding and disembarkation, while on the flydeck, guests will find an additional helm, two social areas, and an L-shaped wet bar.
