Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Sporty & Rich have collaborated on their capsule collection, reinterpreting luxury hotel wear through the Sporty & Rich lens.
The iconic Antibes-based luxury hotel and the Los Angeles label have come together on a 25-piece capsule collection of classic Sporty & Rich offerings including t-shirts, sweatshirts, terry cloth polos along, pinstripe pyjama sets, boxers and more, integrating vintage Hotel du Cap references along including its iconic buoy and crest.
Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, part of the Oetker Collection portfolio of Masterpiece Hotels, is an absolute legend of the French Riviera. Located at the southern tip of Cap d’Antibes, this vibrant gem, elegant Napoleonian style residence, overlooks the Mediterranean and the Lérins Islands. Amidst 32 acres of pine forest, its majestic alley, the iconic swimming pool as well as the rose gardens celebrate an idyllic setting, symbol of the French art de vivre.
“This collaboration marks the union of two brands who share a likeminded vision of both elegance and wellness,” says Philippe Perd, managing director at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc. “In reference to the discreet and natural elegance the Grande Dame has embodied for more than 150 years, this collection is an attitude, a way of living. Sporty & Rich has a very comprehensive CSR approach that we strongly support, and that corresponds to our own strategy and vision. Finally, I would mention the link between our longstanding and loyal US customers who take part in forging the reputation of our great hotel and the strong anchor Sporty & Rich has nurtured since the very beginning with its Californian clientele.”
The Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc is the quintessential Riviera playground, with a stretch of private shore, parkland, pool and pontoon, perfectly aligned with Sporty & Rich’s ethos of wellness and luxury relaxation.
“I have always been fascinated with the photos of the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc from the 70s,” say Emily Oberg, founder of Sporty & Rich. “They represent a level of elegance and chic that is simply unmatched. These photos from Slim Aarons at the Hotel du Cap have become a moodboard for my life and for our brand. We are so proud to collaborate with this iconic establishment on a collection of luxury and hotel inspired pieces: from terry cloth sets to classic cotton fleece pieces and the mandatory pajama sets, everything you would need for a stylish stay in the best hotel.”
