Switzerland has a new allure this year with the opening of the Grace La Margna, bringing modern luxury and classic glamour to St Moritz.

The launch of Grace La Margna St Moritz sees the rebirth of a unique historical building brought back to life through the restoration of The “La Margna”. Built at the beginning of the 20th Century in the Art Nouveau style, characteristic of the Engadin, it is one of St Moritz‘s landmarks, not only because of its spectacular location and panoramic view of Lake St Moritz but because of historic elegance and charm.

The Grace Margna St Moritz combines the glamorous past of St. Moritz with the demands of the modern and cosmopolitan society of today and sees the loving renovation of a historic building as well as the creation of the new adjacent building, creating the first luxurious boutique hotel in St. Moritz.

London-based architectural firm Divercity Architects was engaged in the design implementation to bring an individual perspective to traditional Engadin architectural design. Construction work on Grace La Margna St Moritz is in full swing for a glittering opening this month, when the summer season will kick off with A Legend Reborn and a new place-to-be for cosmopolitans and locals alike 365 days a year.

The 74 rooms and suites, set across two unique wings – the renovated La Margna Wing and the new Grace Wing – will captivate guests with a progressive design that exudes a calm and serene sense of wellbeing. The lavishly restored historic La Margna Wing, which retains its original Art Nouveau elements, bears witness to the original spirit of winter tourism and the flair of the world-famous destination of St Moritz. Most of its 47 rooms and suites have panoramic views over the lake and the unparalleled mountain vistas beyond.

General Manager David Frei and his team will welcome guests not only to world-class accommodation but also to a meeting place and culinary hotspot for travellers and locals alike. In the restaurants, cafés, lounges and signature bar, culinary diversity and experiential gastronomy will be guaranteed. Whether vegetarian or meat, pop-up or fine dining, enjoyment is redefined here with a delightful selection of food and drink 365 days a year for almost 24 hours a day.
