Luxury island retreat Wa Ale Resort has opened for the new season, complete with a new chef, yoga teacher and wellness experiences.
The unique ecotourism island, based off the coasts of Thailand and Myanmar, Wa Ale was built to support the Lampi Foundation in conservation and community efforts.
This secluded hideaway features just 11 luxury tented beach villas and three treetop villas, as well as the Pavilion Beach Restaurant & Bar, River Cafe & Bar, a dive centre, jungle gym, conservation centre and the indulgent River Spa.
Located on an island only inhabited by Wa Ale guests, each stunning villa has been thoughtfully designed to blend in with the lush vegetation and pristine beach and has been constructed using reclaimed and local materials to reduce their impact on the environment.
