Half a century ago, the legendary Beogram 4000 Series turntables debuted and over time it has become a classic with music lovers, collected by art museums and included in design history books. Its influence can still be seen and heard today.

To create the Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn, B&O sourced 100 original units of this iconic turntable, and recreated them as Beogram 4000c for the limited-edition Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn, a cool demonstration of B&O’s commitment to longevity, design and craftmanship.

Each original Beogram was worked on by a team of engineers, technicians and craftspeople at B&O’s facilities in Struer, with every single element of the record players cleaned, refurbished, updated and fine-tuned by hand. The final step is to upgrade the technology – installing a preamplifier and adding a new pickup cartridge – to ensure the Nordic Dawn can fully integrate with all contemporary home sound systems

Inspired by the light of a Scandi sunrise, warm honey, ginger, and amber tone aluminium finishes come together with a Birch panel to shape the heart of the system – the iconic Beogram 4000c turntable, recreated by hand and customised for the first time in the Nordic Dawn colourway.

The turntable is accompanied by a matching pair of Beolab 28 stereo speakers for a refined and immersive stereo sound experience. The Beolab 28s are customised in the same warm finishes, with ginger tone aluminium, Birch fronts, and Sandthorne Define fabric by Danish textile experts Kvadrat. The solid Birch Wood cabinet that the Beogram 4000c comes in can store a vinyl record collection, act as a connectivity hub for a smart Bang & Olufsen ecosystem integration, or a wireless charging station for the Beoremote Halo.
