Set to open in the coming months, Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island brings a touch of contemporary luxury to the Seychelles.

Combining pristine beaches with distinctive activities and unparalleled service, the luxurious new Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island, which takes its cues from the coconut palm, will boast 50 seafront villas – themselves inspired by the hawksbill turtle – some of which will have up to five bedrooms and all of which benefit from private pools and personal concierges.

Each villa is designed with a fan-shaped style that gives the space an ascending-pitched ceiling. The villas are also sensitively set back from the shoreline and feature expansive gardens that create an undisturbed place for sea turtles to lay their eggs.

Completing this retreat will be six restaurants and bars overseen by award-winning executive head chef Jane-Therese Mulry that include Maison Des Epices, a Creole-Latin fusion concept; the Parisian-inspired Peacock Terrace, home to creative beverages and pastries; and La Perle, which serves healthy breakfasts by day and Mediterranean fine-dining menus by night.
