A finalist in the highly acclaimed Brit List Awards 2023 in the International Award category before it has even opened, Villa Sea Princess Nika, opening this spring, has been designed in the classic style, paying homage to the rich aristocratic history of Čikat Bay.
Its magnificent building was first constructed in 1909 and underwent an extensive renovation by architects Siniša Glušica and Leora Dražul from Dražul Glušica Arhitekhi, based in Rijeka; interior designers Dean Franić and Saša Šekoranja from Studio Franić Šekoranja; and lighting designer Dean Skira.
The result is a truly sensational sole-booking property. The luxurious villa has been opulently designed with a regal arched façade, antique Venetian Murano chandeliers, a rustic French-house-inspired kitchen in white and chocolate melange marble, and seven elegant suites across three floors.
Each bathroom is decorated using different styles and a delightful combination of stones from fossil stone, green Persian, rainbow and red onyx, blue lapis, to red travertine. The ground floor is designed in a classic style using previous marbles (calcatta viola, bianco lasa, and rosso levanto), walnut wood parquet, and rich stucco. Luxuriously handmade silk carpets were also custom designed for each room, wonderfully complementing the furniture made according to the design of Studio Franić Šekorania from the Italian manufacturer Martini.
Built with total exclusivity and luxury in mind, Villa Sea Princess Nika boasts a wine cellar Tavern, private home cinema, professional outdoor kitchen with barbecue, a 24-hour chef, and an International Butler Academy certified butler service.
