Featuring the city’s first contemporary ryokan experience, Four Seasons Hotel Osaka offers a luxurious immersion into Japanese tradition.
Housed within the new One Dojima multi-use building by architects Nikken Sekkei, with interiors by a trio of Japanese design leaders – Curiosity, Simplicity and Design Studio Spin – Osaka’s newest luxury enclave is located in the city’s Dojima neighbourhood, home to a vibrant dining scene as well as important historic sites.
The new haven features a signature spa with five treatment rooms (try the 100-minute facial inspired by legendary Empress Kōmyō); an indoor pool and fitness centre; and 130 guest rooms and 24 suites in natural wood and stone, all with spectacular city views from the 29th to 35th floors.

What sets the new Four Seasons apart is Gensui, its contemporary ryokan experience, a first for the city, offering travellers to Osaka a unique insight into Japanese culture, complete with tatami mats, slow-slung furniture, luxurious futon-style beds, curated minibars and access to the intimate SABO tea lounge.
Beyond, guests will discover a host of unique dining experiences ranging from Sushi L’Abysse Osaka, the creation of celebrated chefs Yannick Alléno and Itaru Yasuda; and Bar Bota, where head bartender Andrei Marcu prepares handcrafted libations incorporating local botanicals; to Jardin, where executive sous chef Hiroaki Nagaishi presents international semi-buffets and exquisite afternoon tea sets.
